Greetings . . .

How are y'all? I thought it was time I updated this blog before it started growing grey hairs like its author. I have recently started a temporary job, nothing exciting but it pays my bills, puts food on the table and buys those other little things one takes for granted when working. Moreover I have cleared one of my overdrafts which gave me a headache each month with charges and fees. And am talking tense nervous headaches!

Pretty stressful being unemployed this time around, deciding each month, how I was going to keep the wolves at bay, but here I am feeling much more at ease and itching to get sewing again. I think Lady Boo Boo (my sewing machine) thinks I am MIA.

I won't be able to attend any sewing classes but I will light a match under that sewing mojo if it's the last thing I do, and endeavour to self teach, making use of all those links I have saved.  The past one and a half years have seemed like a bad recurring dream and it has certainly put things into perspective.

In the meantime I will keep being inspired by you all.

Until Next Time

Sassy T

  2. Congratulations! What great news! Sewing classes sound terrific, but I lernt to sew strictly via internet and there is a lot of help in it. You´ll be just fine with all your links!

  3. I'm glad you got a job and that your stress levels are going down. Remember, even five minutes sorting sewing needles still counts as sewing, so give yourself five minutes of sewing every day, and TELL your sewing mojo to come home!

  5. Congrats on the job! It is hard to be out of work. I was really depressed when I was out of work a few years ago. I wanted to let you know that I have nominated your blog for a Liebster Award. I have loved your posts and like your sassy style.
