Pinterest Picks - March 12

Okay as you may or may not know, I'm a teensy weensy bit addicted to Pinterest. If you believe that you believe anything, am totally addicted, and have saved a plethora of eye candy to prove it. Each month I will be boring you with a selection of those.

Some will be my sewing inspirations and others will be just Ooo that's nice. You should be able to link to the source (if I have it) when you click the image. On this post you can link to the bag and shoes but not the dress.

First up is a gorgeous maxi.

I could see myself making a skirt like this, with just a hint of gather in the tiers. Or even a three tier as they look pretty cute, I absolutely love the colour combination and I am definitely inspired for the future.

Second up is this cute little bag.

"Mint bow bag with white studded bow, handle and adjustable cross body strap"

Am not too fussed on the colour but how cute is this bag. I would feel very girly traipsing around with this . . . very girly indeed.

And finally a nice pair of heels.

Am assuming they are patent leather. I wear flats or walking shoes which are like trainers/sneakers but I do love to look at a nice pair of shoes. I can never walk in heels on a regular basis so save that experience for any serious evenings out, which are few and far between, I might add.

** Listen Up **

All going well my next post should be the completed PITA (pain in the a*se) faux leather bag. Lost my sewing mojo as a result, which am hoping to regain tomorrow in class. Ssh, not been for two weeks. Naughty I know.

Toodles . . .

"Keep smiling it keeps people wondering what you are up to."

  1. I think I used to have that quote on a pin on my backpack in high school!

And yes, Pinterest is totally addicting! Love the dress the purse, but that heel looks really scary...

  2. Aww re your backpack quote. Yes high heels are totally scary to me. I walk most places so am always sporting a pair of walking shoes which are like sneakers/trainers. But I do like looking at them on Pinterest when they float down my home page lol.

  4. Wow I love all three of them! The dress is gorgeous, I love the bright colours but I sadly wouldn't be able to pull it off, except for if I had about 9 inch heels! The bag is so cute and I love the shoes, you have great taste! XxxX http://thesecondhandrose.blogspot.com/

  5. I think maxi skirts look great on everyone. Am only 5ft 1 and I love the look. Gives the illusion of length.
