Bits 'n' Bobs

The lovely Veronica Lake, looking all femme fatale.

Greetings Peeps. You have probably guessed now that I settled on Thread Noir as my new blog name. I mentioned on a forum I love film noir and this is what someone came up with. To me it has a sophisticated mysterious appeal. I guess the mystery on my blog is . . . Does she ever sew? I will do honest, just waiting for classes to start, so stick with me.

I initially wanted Blue Gardenia which is a fave Dinah Washington tune plus a film noir film. However it wasn't to be, as there were a plethora (love that word)  of them on the net but glad there were, as I prefer Thread Noir anyway.

Okay you beautiful people, would you believe I have started my diet again, yeah I know deja vu. I set up a separate fat blog  a while back, which am going to change the name off pretty soon, told ya I get bored easily. It will only be the screen name I will be changing, I will probably call it Hey Fatty Bum Bum,  the chorus of a 70's (Carl Malcolm) tune that use to make me giggle, all school girlish. My user name is Missy Fatty, cute eh.

Right am off to shower and face yet another dreary day, come back Sun am missing ya like crazy.

Before I go, there is a free Alexander McQueen, kimono inspired jacket pattern to download at Threads if you are interested.

  2. I like the new name. I liked the old one, too. I think you should keep your name, though. Sassy T is just cool sounding. Can't wait to see more of your projects!

  3. I think Thread Noir is a great name for a blog! I really like that A McQueen jacket too; it initially was offered online at StyleStudio, a few years back when he was till alive. I downloaded it from their site and tried to make it up. it was very very difficult!
Thanks so much for your comment on my blog.
